2016 Inland Northwest Mens Amateur Baseball League
Workout and Draft

Date: Sunday, April 24th, 2016

Time: 35 and Over League; 48+ League 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM (Registration and warm-ups begin at 10:00 AM)
18 and Over League 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
(Registration and warm-ups begin at 12:30 PM)

Location: West Valley High School, 8301 E. Buckeye, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.

There will be one workout for all new players. The draft will be held immediately following the workout. New players are highly encouraged to participate in the workout.

Before You Get There:

Submit player contact information to admin@playhardball.org or League President Ron Mackie at architecturalventures@comcast.net to get placed on player list.

Player contact information should include phone number, email, age, playing experience and which League you are interested in trying out for. Players of any age can try out for the younger League and can play in both if desired.
Submit player contact information on or before April 22nd to be placed on tryout list.

A 2016 Player Participation Waiver agreement must be filled out and signed prior to the Workout. Waivers will be available at the field but they must be signed and turned in before 10:30 AM. Be prepared. (1:00 PM for the 18 and over League)

Additional Information:
Wear comfortable baseball clothing.
Metal spikes are permitted on the field.
The first hour will be outfield and infield practice.
The remaining time will be used for batting and pitching evaluation.

16 game season plus playoffs.
18 and over League plays Sunday double headers. League start date of May 22nd.
35 and over League plays Saturday double headers. League start date of July 9th (tenative).
48 and over League play Wednesday nights single games. League start date of July 13th (tenative).
Quality baseball fields.
High School umpires.
Approximately $160-$200 per person league fees, plus uniforms for some teams, others may check out jerseys.
Automatic eligibility to participate in any MABL/MSBL tournaments.

Inland Northwest Mens Baseball League – Founded in 1996

Part of MSBL National with over 325 league affiliates and 3400 teams across the USA, with 45,000 members.
16 game regular season plus playoff games for the majority of league teams.
Different levels of competition for the recreational player to ex college and pros.
Three age groups: 18+, 35+ and 48+. All divisions are wood bat.

2016 fields include: West Valley High School, Central Valley HS, LC Hart Field, East Valley HS, North Central HS, Northwest Christian HS, Mt. Spokane HS, Thorco Field, Brett James.

2016 Summer League Meeting

We are having a league meeting for the 2016 Summer Season.

Saturday, February 6th at Summit School (612 S. McDonald | Spokane Valley)

The meeting will be from 12:30pm – 2:30pm.

We will begin talking about the 35+ season agenda from 12:30pm-1:15pm. Then we will be discussing the 18+ season agenda from 1:20pm – 2:30pm.

Anyone is welcome to join. Coaches are encouraged to be present.

Due to fields being booked by HS Legion or being shut down for season, we will have to stay with original plan.

Higher seed has option to be home team.
Traveling teams need to get between fields within reasonable time.
Game time is set and teams need to have a minimum of 8 players at scheduled game time or will have to forfeit.
To be eligible to play in playoffs a player must have competed in a minimum of 3 games during league play.
All games are 7 inning and will maintain 2 hour 10 minute time limit, no new inning and 2 hour 30 minute drop dead. Ties will revert back to previous inning score if necessary.
